Gal Patel

Gal Patel is an experienced NLP Researcher currently working at Ask-AI since October 2022. Prior experience includes a role as an NLP Researcher at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where Gal participated in developing multi-level reference-based evaluation methods. Additional experience includes positions as a Teaching Assistant for an Introduction to Machine Learning course, a Computer Vision Researcher at Lightricks implementing deep learning models, and as a Research Assistant focusing on computational cognition and philosophy of computing. Previous roles also include directing tech workshops for BIG IDEA - Israeli Summer Camps, developing educational games as a Flash Developer, and serving as an instructor and course developer in the Israel Defense Forces. Gal holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
