Anas Belfathi

Anas BELFATHI is currently a PhD Holder and NLP Researcher at Nantes Université, specializing in enhancements to pre-trained language models for legal applications. Recent accomplishments include presenting research at prestigious conferences such as the ICAIL and JEP-TALN-RECITAL, where Anas explored selective masking strategies for domain adaptation. Anas also organized a workshop during the Fête de la Science, discussing the impact of Generative AI on argumentative structures. Notably, Anas received the Best Paper Award at the Jurix International Conference for research on GPT-3.5-Turbo in legal contexts. Prior experience includes data science work at Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique de Nantes and full stack development at Ecole Nationale d'Architecture de Rabat. Anas holds two Master's degrees in Data Science and Web Intelligence from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord and Université Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah-Fès, respectively, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Université Ibn Zohr.
