Carmen Carr has extensive experience in program coordination, outreach, and housing support, currently serving as Program Coordinator and Outreach Worker at ASK Wellness Centre since October 2008. Additionally, Carmen has held the position of Life Skills Worker and Housing Supports at Crossroads Supportive Housing since March 2015. Previous experience includes serving as Operations Manager and SHOP Coordinator at another organization, as well as Manager at Rapid Cool Refrigeration from 1995 to 2003. Carmen holds a Suboxone Training Certificate from the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use, a Concurrent Disorder Certificate from the Canadian Association for Mental Health, and a degree in Human Services with a focus on Trauma Informed Practice from Thompson Rivers University.

The ASK Wellness Society is a not for profit organization that supports individuals within the BC Region with opportunities and the resources to change their current situation. It is about reaching out to those people who are homeless and battling addictions, helping them find housing and medical care, addressing their addictions, stabilizingmental health issues and, ultimately, providing them with the skills to re-enter the work force.
