Anwar Ahmed Malik is the current Head of Compliance and Grievance at Askari. Anwar has over 20 years of experience in the field of finance and accounting. Malik started their career as an assistant manager at National Insurance Company Limited where they worked for 8 years and 5 months. Anwar then joined Askari General Insurance Company Limited and rose through the ranks to become Senior Vice President, Joint Senior Vice President/Head-Compliance & Grievance Deptt., Vice President/Compliance Officer, Joint Vice President, Assistant Vice President. During their 13 years with the company, Malik has been responsible for finalizing accounts, supervising bank reconciliations, profitability analysis of various business segments/clients for decision making, perusal for recovery of receivables, budgeting & monitoring, bank signatory, reconciliation and settlement of accounts with all insurance companies, processing/approval of various kinds of payments, coordination with banks, timely reporting to regulatory bodies etc.

Anwar Ahmed Malik has a ICMA PAKISTAN in Management Accounting and a Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) in Accounting and Finance.
