Askinosie Chocolate
Kaylyn McCune has a diverse work experience. Kaylyn first worked at Missouri State University starting in May 2010 as a Bookbinder, responsible for repairing and preserving books. Kaylyn gained experience in various techniques, such as re-sewing and using archival glues. Kaylyn then worked as a Design Intern at Medical Consulting Group from June 2011 to August 2011, where they created advertising materials for clients within a fast-paced environment. In May 2012, they joined Askinosie Chocolate as the Design and Marketing Manager, and later became the Design and Marketing Director. There is no specified end date for their roles at Askinosie Chocolate.
Kaylyn McCune attended Missouri State University from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design and Illustration.

Askinosie Chocolate
Askinosie Chocolate is a small batch chocolate manufacturer located in Springfield, Mo., sourcing 100% of their beans directly from the farmers. Shawn Askinosie, founder and chocolate maker, travels to regions of Ecuador, the Philippines and Tanzania to work directly with the farmers and source cocoa beans for his chocolate. This allows the chocolate to be traced to the source and labeled Authentic Single Origin Chocolate. It also enables Askinosie Chocolate to profit share with the farmers. The Askinosie Chocolate mission is to serve their farmers, their neighborhood, their customers and each other; sharing the Askinosie Chocolate Experience by leaving the world a better place than they found it.
