Jörg Votteler

Jörg Votteler currently serves as Director at AskBio Inc., following roles as Associate Director and Sr. Scientist Group Leader since November 2020. Prior to this, Votteler was a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Utah School of Medicine from January 2012 to November 2020, where contributions included designing self-assembling protein nanocages for biomolecule delivery. Votteler's earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral position at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, focusing on HIV-1 Gag residues and viral evolution, and an Undergraduate Research Fellowship at the Robert Koch Institute, which involved cloning and characterization of retroviruses. Votteler’s academic background includes a PhD in Virology from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and a Diplom Ingenieur in Medical Biotechnology from Technische Universität Berlin.
