Youjun Chen

Youjun Chen is a Senior Scientist and Group Lead at AskBio Inc. since January 2022, where responsibilities include leading the Cellular Biodistribution Core. Prior to this role, Youjun Chen worked as a Scientist II, Histotechnologist at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc., contributing to a company focused on gene therapy for genetic diseases. Experience also includes serving as a Research Consultant and Laboratory Manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 2016 to June 2022, and holding various research positions at The Scripps Research Institute and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2004 and 2016. Youjun Chen holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China.
