Research Manager at Wonder

Hellen Odoyo has a diverse work experience. Hellen began their career in 2013 as an Attac with Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project Phase II; Community Development/Monitoring and Evaluation, where they facilitated and supported the implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) at the local level, conducted interviews with Community-Driven Development group members, educated community groups about community development concepts and environmental management, and monitored and evaluated the progress of community-driven development projects. In 2015, they worked as an Intern at Mazingira Limited, where they assisted and supported in conducting Environmental Audits and Environmental Impact Assessments, carried out various health and safety Audits, fire safety and risk assessments, and compiled Field Audit and Assessment Reports. In 2016, they were employed by SGS as a Site Supervisor (Environmental Health Safety Specialist), where they were responsible for project supervision, performing risk assessments and hazard analysis, conducting regular inspections, reinforcing and ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures, carrying out safety inductions/training, and preparing and submitting weekly reports. Since 2018, Hellen has been employed by Wonder (AskWonder.com) as a Research Manager and Research Analyst.

Hellen Odoyo obtained their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Kenyatta University between 2010 and 2014.
