Kathleen M. Metters has 30 years of experience in novel drug discovery and development. Currently, Kathleen is a Non-Executive Director of Hemoshear Therapeutics and Pharmaxis Ltd., Senior Advisor and Scientific Advisory Board Chair, Bridge Medicines. Previously, Kathleen was the Chief Executive Officer and President of Lycera Corp, Senior Vice President, External Discovery and Preclinical Sciences at Merck & Co, and, prior to that, Senior Vice President, Head of Worldwide Basic Research at Merck & Co, 2005 to 2011. Other leadership positions held at Merck & Co include Vice President, Site Head at Merck Frosst Canada, Basic Research Head of the Respiratory Franchise, and Chair of the Respiratory Worldwide Business Strategy Team.
