Prior to this, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Levity Live, where they achieved significant ticket sales and managed a large marketing budget.
Before joining Levity Live, Bob Nocek owned their own concert promotion company, Bob Nocek Presents LLC, where they successfully organized numerous events and built strong relationships with artist agencies. Additionally, they served as the President & CEO of the Carolina Theatre of Durham, where they significantly grew the programming volume and revenue.
Bob Nocek has also worked at ASM Global - Official, where they held positions such as Assistant General Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Operations, and Box Office Manager. During their time at ASM Global, they oversaw facility operations, partnered with national and regional promoters, and managed a substantial marketing budget.
Earlier in their career, Bob Nocek worked as a Program Manager at the F. M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, where they curated a diverse range of events. Bob also gained experience as a Writer & Editor at The Times Leader, where they garnered multiple awards for their writing and editing skills.
Bob Nocek's passion for journalism led him to work as a Journalism Instructor at Misericordia University. Overall, their work experience spans various roles in the entertainment industry, demonstrating their expertise in marketing, event management, and relationship building.
Bob Nocek attended King's College from 1985 to 1989 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Spanish. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2000, they received a certification in "Presenting the Performing Arts" from the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. In 2002, they attended the Emerging Leadership Institute, offered by the same institution. In 2014, they obtained a certification in "Nonprofit Management" from Duke University. Lastly, in 2015, they completed the Venue Management School offered by the International Association of Venue Managers.
