Josh Ambrose

Josh Ambrose has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Josh is currently working as the Director of Finance at ASM Global since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Management Consultant at KPMG US from January 2022 to May 2023.

From 2018 to December 2021, they worked at Rakuten Americas holding multiple roles, including Senior Manager of Treasury and Business Intelligence, Treasury Manager, and Senior Treasury Analyst. In these roles, they managed a team, automated accounting processes using programming languages like Python and SQL, and configured the accounting department database system.

Before that, they worked as an SAP Consultant, specifically in the FICO module, at doTERRA International LLC from May 2017 to July 2018. Josh participated in a large-scale implementation project and automated data entry into ERP and business intelligence reporting.

From December 2016 to May 2017, they worked as a Treasury Analyst at XanGo, where they monitored treasury reporting, managed international markets, and created cost center budgets.

Prior to that, from July 2015 to December 2016, they worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, specializing in FICC STIR trading and repo. Josh was part of a team that reallocated trillions of dollars annually.

Josh's work experience began in December 2014 as a Junior Reporting Analyst at CIT Bank, where they held a full-time position while completing their undergraduate degree. Josh performed COGNOS Server SQL Database Administration, created various bank deposit reports, and assisted in fraud monitoring.

Josh Ambrose obtained a Master of Accounting degree in Accounting Business Analytics from the University of Utah, where they studied from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Westminster University, where they studied from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from MIT Sloan School of Management in November 2022, "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in August 2022, "Data Visualization for Data Analysts" from LinkedIn in July 2022, "Conversational Artificial Intelligence" from University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business in March 2022, "Alteryx Designer Core Certification" from Alteryx in January 2022, "SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates (SAP S/4HANA 1511)" from SAP in July 2018, and "Advanced Tax Entitled Agent" from the Internal Revenue Service in 2014.
