Ryan Pham

Flagship Combat Robotics Weapon Lead at ASME at UCLA

Ryan Pham is currently a Flagship Combat Robotics Weapon Engineer at ASME at UCLA, where Ryan led the CAD development of a weapon arm for a battle-bot and collaborated with a team to design and test the combat robot. Ryan is also a Research Assistant at UCLA SMART Project, where Ryan manages ground-based magnetometers for space weather research. In addition, Ryan works as a Makerspace Technician at UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and as a Research Assistant at UCLA SMERC, studying heavy-duty electric vehicle energy consumption. As a Research Scholar at UCLA Sustainable LA Grand Challenge, Ryan conducts field work on native pollinator species. Prior to these roles, Ryan worked as a Waiter at Gomen Ramen. Ryan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at UCLA.
