Alberto Merced is an experienced procurement professional with a significant background in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Procurement Operations at ASME since February 2017, Alberto has developed a comprehensive Procurement Policy and oversees compliance with purchasing guidelines. Prior roles include Director of Strategic Procurement at HBO, where oversight included critical facilities and consumer goods, and Non Stock Procurement Manager at Burberry, focusing on indirect procurement in the Americas. Earlier experience encompasses positions at PVH Corp. and Radio City Music Hall, where Alberto demonstrated expertise in managing procurement teams and implementing automated systems.
