Bruce A. Harding

Bruce A. Harding is a highly experienced professional in standardization and technical product documentation, currently serving as the Chair of the Board on Standardization & Testing Strategic Planning Committee at ASME since June 2010. In addition to this role, Harding holds the position of Vice President for Standardization and Performance Testing at ASME, leading efforts in the development of standards across various engineering disciplines. As a member of the ISO Living Laboratory Committee, Harding contributes to making ISO standards more user-friendly and chairs Technical Committee 10, which oversees the creation of global product documentation standards. With a long-standing academic career as a Professor of MET at Purdue University, Harding integrates research on American National and ISO standards into classroom instruction and has served in various leadership roles within ANSI and ASEE.
