Dan Ludovisi

Dan Ludovisi, PE, serves as the Mechanical Engineering Manager for the Nuclear Power Group at Sargent & Lundy since 2007, specializing in normal and emergency systems, thermo-hydraulics, multiphase fluid dynamics, and HVAC among other areas. In addition to managing mechanical engineering efforts, Dan has been actively involved with ASME since 2013, holding key roles such as Chair of the Risk Informed Activities Committee and member of various committees. Dan has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at DePaul University and the College of DuPage, teaching courses on energy economics, thermo fluid dynamics, and related subjects. With a robust research background from prestigious organizations such as NASA and universities in both the United States and Italy, Dan holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA.
