Madhukar Sharma

Madhukar Sharma is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the engineering and inspection sectors. As the Director for India at ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) since October 2013, Madhukar Sharma focuses on fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skills development among engineers, academicians, and scientists. Prior to this role, Madhukar Sharma served as Country Manager for ASME at Tecnova Global from February 2008 to September 2013, where responsibilities included developing market strategies and promoting the organization's global mission. Earlier experience includes a tenure as General Manager at TUV SUD South Asia, overseeing third-party inspections and quality services in the automotive and industrial sectors, as well as managing third-party inspections for various goods at SGS India Ltd. Madhukar Sharma holds an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University.
