Shawn Miller

Shawn Miller is an experienced manager currently leading the Student to Professional Engagement initiative at ASME since November 2019. In this role, Shawn oversees operations for both professional and student sections, managing a diverse group of volunteers and fostering engagement in various global regions, including Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Prior to ASME, Shawn served as the Owner of Shawn Jones Photography and held marketing roles at the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston, where responsibilities included event production and marketing strategy. Additionally, Shawn has international teaching experience at China Jiliang University, and contributed to media as a photo editor and staff photographer at Pepperdine Graphic Media. Educationally, Shawn holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Pepperdine University.
