Kelsey Sawvelle

Kelsey Sawvelle, MSME, is a skilled mechanical design engineer currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer at ASML since July 2022. Previously, Kelsey held the position of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from June 2017 to July 2022, where responsibilities included leading the mechanical team for a significant retrofit upgrade on the Ground Control Station. Experience also includes collaborative research with NASA Glenn Research Center as a Graduate Researcher at the Combustion & Solar Energy Laboratory, and leadership positions in ASME and Aztec Electric Racing, where Kelsey founded an electric formula race car team. An extensive background in management is reflected in a previous role at the City of San Marcos, where Kelsey oversaw a large team of lifeguards and facilities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from San Diego State University.
