Koen Pontzen is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and management, currently serving as CPO DUV Projection (SAFe Product Manager) and Project Cluster Manager EUV Installed Base at ASML since July 2018. Previously, Koen held various supervisory roles at DAF Trucks NV, including Supervisor of Brake System and Vehicle Installation, where management of a 30-person department focused on air and brake systems was key, and Supervisor of Reliability Engineering & Six Sigma Support, overseeing a 15-member team for product development using Six Sigma and Lean methods. Additionally, Koen served as a Six Sigma Black Belt at DAF and has held leadership positions at Philips Lighting, managing departments and leading process improvement projects across multiple countries. Koen holds two Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Amsterdam and Delft University of Technology.
