Marjolein den Haan is a UX researcher at ASML, with a focus on user-centered design methods, currently employed since May 2022 through ALTEN Nederland. Previously, Marjolein served as a PhD Candidate and User-System Interaction Designer at Eindhoven University of Technology, specializing in the in-context evaluation of design for aging from October 2015 to November 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as a researcher at Prisma, where Marjolein led research to enhance user experience for individuals with cognitive disorders, and as a caregiver at Zorgorganisatie Het Hoge Veer. Marjolein also completed a graduate project at GGzE, which aimed to foster connections between individuals with dementia and their loved ones. Additional positions include product design at Promea Industrial Design and serving as a technology ambassador for CNV Jongeren. Marjolein holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology and began education at Dongemond College, focusing on Nature & Health.
