Sjoerd van der Laag

Sjoerd van der Laag is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in embedded systems and metrology. Currently, Sjoerd holds senior software engineer positions at ASML, working on Yieldstar, a metrology tool, and at Philips HealthCare, where Sjoerd develops embedded software for patient table and X-ray arc control. Sjoerd's prior experience includes roles at PROMEXX Technical Automation B.V. and Philips Assembléon, focusing on optimizer software for PCB assembly, as well as significant contributions at Assembleon and ASML in software engineering and metrology. Sjoerd's career began in 1999 with LCN Planning & Scheduling, following education in Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente.
