Paul Bellon-Serre has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Paul started their career in 2019 as an Employé Polyvalent at Quick, where they gained experience in various tasks such as cashiering, cleaning, order preparation, and staff training. In 2020, they worked as a Game Designer and Developer for the UNAIDS, collaborating on a mobile game to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and contraception issues in Kenya. Paul incorporated intimate conversations with the main character and mini-games to engage the target audience effectively. In 2021, Paul participated in the GSGS - Gamification & Serious Games Symposium, where they discussed their group's work on the game "Amani, My Friend," created for the UNAIDS. Paul also worked as a Game Designer and Expositor at Design Days, creating a VR game called "Uru Dagal," which showcased a futuristic city inspired by Tsutomu Nihei's BLAME! comics and Piranesi's Prisons. In 2022, Paul served as a Game Designer and Developer for HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale, working on a 5-month project called "Astray," a narrative game inspired by sci-fi works like Alien and L'Incal. Currently, Paul is a Mission Designer at Asobo Studio, starting in 2023.
Paul Bellon-Serre started their education in 2011 at Lycée Camille Jullian, where they pursued a Baccalauréat in Economics and Social Sciences, completing it in 2014. Following this, from 2014 to 2015, they attended Université Bordeaux Montaigne (formerly Bordeaux 3) and earned a Licence degree in History. Continuing their education, from 2017 to 2020, Paul studied at EESAB (École Européenne Supérieure d'Art de Bretagne) and obtained another Licence degree, this time in Design. Currently, starting in 2020 and continuing until 2022, they are enrolled in HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale, working towards a Master's degree in Game Design.
