Wassim Smati has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Wassim started their career at Objectif 3D in 2017, where they worked as a Game Designer and Level Designer for the project "Projet Faraday," designing puzzles and levels for a First Person Puzzle Game. Wassim also wrote the script, dialogues, and created the game's world.
In 2018, Wassim continued working at Objectif 3D, this time as a Game Designer and Level Designer for "The Switcher," a 2.5D platformer game. Wassim was responsible for creating the game's mechanics, gameplay elements, and story. Wassim also designed some of the levels.
During the same year, Wassim participated in The Global Game Jam and worked on a shooter game called "Pigeon Express." Wassim contributed to designing gameplay elements, including bosses and enemies.
In late 2018, Wassim took on the role of Lead Narrative Designer for "Operation ALAMO," a campaign in ARMA III. Wassim wrote the script, dialogues, and developed the characters for the campaign.
In 2019, Wassim joined Objectif 3D as a Game Designer for "Rocky Town VR." Their main task was to create a mini-game for a VR experience, utilizing all the tools and constraints related to VR. Wassim worked on Level Design, creating a level following LD logics and rules, and also assisted with World Design.
Most recently, Wassim joined Asobo Studio in 2020 as a Mission Designer. Further details regarding this role are not provided.
Wassim Smati pursued their education with a Bachelor's degree in Game Design from Objectif 3D. Wassim attended this institution from 2016 to 2020. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Film Making and Script Writing from SAE Institute Paris, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
