Clare Heard

Clare Heard is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Audit and Risk Committee for Oasis Charitable Trust since April 2024. As the Director of Tax for ASOS.com since August 2021, Clare defines the Group’s global tax strategies, manages tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and oversees tax and payments teams. Clare's extensive experience includes significant roles at Diageo, where achievements included leading tax transformation projects and providing expert tax support across Europe and Africa. Previous positions include Group Tax Manager at The National Magazine Company, tutoring roles at FTC Kaplan, and early career roles at M&S and PwC. Clare holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Oxford and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
