Gerald Ngugi

Gerald Ngugi is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax technology, transformation, and compliance. Currently serving as Tax Transformation Manager at ASOS.com since June 2022, Gerald collaborates with the Tax team to enhance processes across Corporate, Indirect, and Employment Taxes. Prior to this, Gerald worked at PwC UK from September 2017 to June 2022, holding roles as Manager and Senior Tax Consultant in Tax Technology & Transformation, focusing on optimizing tax functions through technology. Gerald also contributed to PwC Kenya from September 2014 to August 2017, where responsibilities included managing client accounts, serving as a tax consultant, and coordinating various initiatives. Early career experiences include a position as Finance & CRMS Intern at Citi and general office duties at the Ministry of Transport and Roads Infrastructure. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi, a CPA from KASNEB, and is a CFA Institute alumni.
