María Vargas

María Vargas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sourcing and procurement, currently serving as the Indirect Sourcing Manager for North America and LATAM at Advanced Sterilization Products since December 2021. Previously, María held the position of Strategic Procurement Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, overseeing global and regional procurement for electronic spare parts and services. Prior roles include Director of the Foreign Trade Department at the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce, where María developed plans that significantly contributed to the Chamber's revenue, and Marketing Coordinator at McGraw-Hill Education. Early in María's career, recruitment support was provided at Abbott for a large-scale manufacturing launch. María holds multiple advanced degrees, including MBAs in International Commerce and Finance, and is currently pursuing a Micromaster in Supply Chain from MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics.
