Audrey Tamez

Director Of Legislative Engagement at ASPCA

Audrey Tamez began their work experience in 2012 as a Marketing Intern at Steptoe and Johnson LLC. In 2013, they worked as a Federal Affairs Intern at The Animal Welfare Institute and later as a Federal Affairs Legislative Correspondent at The Humane Society of the United States. Audrey also worked as a Media Marketing Associate at Uganda Grows. Since 2014, Audrey has been with the ASPCA, initially serving as a Senior Manager, Legislative Engagement and currently as the Director of Legislative Engagement.

Audrey Tamez obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Sustainability from Harvard Extension School between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with honors (Cum Laude) from The University of Georgia in 2012. In the same year, Audrey briefly studied Journalism at Georgetown University.
