Sharon Pailler

Director of Research

Sharon Pailler is the Director of Research at the ASPCA, a position held since 2018. They also serve as a Faculty Fellow at the Tufts Center for Animals and Public Policy. Previously, Sharon worked as a post-doctoral research economist at the USDA Economic Research Service and held roles as a senior social scientist at the World Wildlife Fund and a program manager at Action Against Hunger. Sharon's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics from Clark University and two Master's degrees, one in Public Administration from Syracuse University and another in Forest Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry. Earlier, Sharon gained research and teaching experience as a research assistant and teaching assistant at Clark University.
