Leona Minellas

Leona Minellas is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in strategic communication across various sectors, including oil and gas, economic development, and public relations. Currently serving as Communication Director at Aspect: The Strategic Communication Experts since March 2020, Leona also held positions as Senior Communication Lead and Communication Lead. Previous experience includes Communications and Marketing Manager at Opportunity North East Limited, where Leona developed communication strategies to support economic initiatives in north east Scotland. Leona has also worked as a PGPA Adviser for Chevron, Communications Manager at the Oil and Gas Authority, and Communications Adviser at ROVOP, where significant media coverage and stakeholder engagement were achieved. In addition to practical experience, Leona holds a Chartered Institute of Public Relations Diploma in Public Affairs and a BA (Hons) in Corporate Communication from Robert Gordon University.
