Ricardo C. R. has a wide range of experience in various roles and industries. Ricardo C. currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Aspen Aerogels since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer from November 2021 to April 2022. Before joining Aspen Aerogels, Ricardo worked at Aptiv from February 2019 to November 2021, where they served as the head of Vehicle Electrification Systems and also worked in Corporate Strategy. Ricardo C. was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Human Resources at ClearMotion from December 2015 to February 2019. Ricardo also gained experience at General Motors, Amazon.com, FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Lazard Freres & Co., Centerbridge Partners, Magna International, and Mercedes-Benz Villauto. Their roles in these companies involved finance, strategy, automotive retail, M&A, and portfolio operations. Ricardo's work experience spans from 2001 to the present, showcasing their expertise and versatility in the automotive and finance industries.

Ricardo C. R. obtained their High School Diploma from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2003. Following that, they attended Kettering University from 2003 to 2007, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Management Science. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Finance and General Management at Harvard Business School.
