Aspen Art Museum
Simone Krug is an experienced curator and art professional with a diverse background in museums and cultural institutions. Currently serving as a Curator and previously as an Assistant Curator at Aspen Art Museum since November 2018, Simone has also held roles such as Curatorial Assistant and Education and Public Programs Associate at California African American Museum. Additional experience includes an Editorial Fellowship at Rhizome and a position as Studio Manager at Luca Bonetti Conservation Studio. Simone's early career features research roles, including a Research Assistant position at the Venice Biennale and for Kerri Steinberg at Otis College of Art and Design. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Curatorial Practice from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Bard College.
