David Wilcox has a strong background in aviation and technical support. David started their career in 1989 as an Aviation Electrician in the US Navy, maintaining electrical and instrument systems on various helicopters. After leaving the Navy in 1997, they worked as an Avionics Technician at Southeast Aero Services, installing and troubleshooting avionics equipment on GA aircraft. David then moved on to Banyan Air Service, where they served as a Lead Avionics Technician, leading a team of installers and troubleshooting avionics equipment on a range of aircraft. In 2005, they joined Garmin International as a Field Service Engineer, providing on-site technical support for Garmin equipment to Piper Aircraft. David worked there until 2008 when they joined Aspen Avionics as a Field Service Engineer, offering technical support and troubleshooting for Aspen Avionics products to customers and distributors. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in avionics installation, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as strong leadership skills.

David Wilcox attended St. Martin from 1986 to 1989, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 1990, they briefly attended the Naval Aviation Technical Training "A" School and obtained a degree in Aviation Electrician.
