Matt McGovern

Matt McGovern has a broad range of professional experience spanning over two decades. Matt is currently serving as the Director at Aspen Creek Digital Corporation, a role they took on in January 2022. Prior to this, Matt held the position of Director at Birch Creek Development from January 2020.

Before their time at Aspen Creek Digital Corporation and Birch Creek Development, Matt co-founded and served as the CEO of Cypress Creek Renewables for five years, from 2014 to 2019.

Matt also held the role of Director at ERI from January 2006 to June 2017. Additionally, they served as the Managing Partner at AMK Capital Advisors between March 2008 and June 2014.

Furthermore, Matt has experience as the Chief Financial Officer at Paramount Equity from January 2013 to April 2014, and at Gehrlicher Solar America Corp. from January 2010 to December 2012.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as the Managing Partner at SBI USA from June 2001 to June 2008. Matt also worked as a Senior Consultant in the New Ventures Group at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young from June 2000 to June 2001, and had a role in Business Development at Netgateway from September 1998 to May 2000.

Matt McGovern completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Miami University from 1992 to 1996. Matt then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Organizational Behavior from the College of Organizational Studies, CSPP, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000.
