Derek Stark

Derek Stark currently serves as a Marketing and Events Specialist for Aspen Group, starting in September 2023, while also acting as the CEO and Founder of Build Your Story LLC since August 2022, which focuses on assisting non-profits with media promotion and content creation. Previously, Derek Stark held the position of Director of Communications at NewThing Chicagoland (March 2023 - September 2023) and worked as the Executive Assistant and Communications Coordinator at Community Christian Church (June 2022 - September 2023). Additional experience includes roles as Social Media Coordinator for the Chicago Central District Church of the Nazarene, Supervisor at Perry Recreational Center at Olivet Nazarene University, and various positions at Movement Church and Olivet Nazarene University. Derek Stark obtained a degree in Ministerial Missions with a focus on Intercultural/Multicultural Studies from Olivet Nazarene University, graduating in 2022.
