Ben Reuler

Ben Reuler currently serves as the Vice President of Development at Book Trust since May 2024. As the Founder and CEO of In The Area Productions LLC since November 2021, Ben provides testimonial speaking and processing sessions focused on love and antiracism, utilizing extensive experience in executive leadership, social work, and public speaking to support others on their antiracism journeys. At Aspen Leadership Group, Ben has contributed as an Associate since August 2017, assisting with market research, DEI initiatives, and speaking engagements. Previously, as the Executive Director of Seattle Works from January 2015 to April 2022, Ben transformed the organization into a BIPOC-led entity, enhancing employee morale and engagement. In a prior role at LIFT, Inc., Ben led fundraising efforts and significantly increased client service numbers in Chicago. Educational achievements include a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago and participation in the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School.
