Gavin Whiteside

Gavin Whiteside is an experienced executive in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Aspen Medical since July 2013, overseeing the management of Lautoka Hospital and Ba Regional Hospitals in Fiji. Previously, Gavin held roles as Country Manager for both Aspen Medical Harbour City Limited and Paradise Health Solutions Limited in Papua New Guinea, as well as managing medical facility operations for the Regional Assistance Mission in the Solomon Islands. Gavin's project management background includes overseeing high-performing clinical teams in Nauru and leading the eHealth Records Project in New South Wales. Prior to a successful career in healthcare, Gavin served in the Australian Army from 1995 to 2014, attaining the rank of Warrant Officer and participating in various international deployments. Gavin holds advanced diplomas in Leadership and Management, as well as Business Administration, from Churchill Education.
