Michael Humphreys

Michael Humphreys, CSC, GAICD, currently serves as General Manager Asia Pacific at Aspen Medical since February 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Operations Manager. Prior experience includes National Operations Manager at Aspen Aged Care and co-founding RGov Global Pty Ltd, a consultancy focused on risk governance and project management. Notably, Michael played a pivotal role in establishing 150 Respiratory Clinics across Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier in a 10-year tenure at Control Risks, Michael served as Partner & Managing Director, overseeing crisis management and investigative support for various sectors. Military service in the Australian Army spanned from 1981 to 2004, culminating as a Lieutenant Colonel with a notable achievement of receiving a Conspicuous Service Cross while serving as a military diplomat for the United Nations. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW, an MBA from Southern Cross University, and a Master of Science in Military Strategic Studies from the University of Madras, alongside completing the International Company Directors Course.
