Melissa Anderson

Melissa Anderson, MSN, RN has had a diverse range of work experience. Melissa began their career in 2016 as the Director of Acute Care and Emergency Services at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, a position they held for five years until 2021. In 2020, they also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Western Wyoming School of Nursing at Western Wyoming Community College. Starting in 2021, Melissa joined Aspen Mountain Medical Center, where they have held various roles including Hospital Administrator, Chief Nursing Officer, and eventually CEO starting in February 2023.

Melissa Anderson, MSN, RN, holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Nursing Clinical Systems Leadership from the University of Arizona. Melissa also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Wyoming College of Nursing. Melissa is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Western Governors University. In addition, they have a certification from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI).
