Mike Sicilia

EVP, Oracle Global Industries at Oracle

As executive vice president of Oracle Industries, Mike Sicilia leads the team responsible for research and development, operations, and go-to-market strategy for Oracle’s vertical businesses worldwide. Mike’s teams deliver cloud-based, industry-specific solutions for companies in retail, finance, communications, healthcare, life sciences, hospitality, engineering and construction, and more. These solutions—such as clinical trials management, electronic health records, and point-of-sale systems, among others—help customers solve their most challenging problems.

Sicilia previously served as the chief technology officer at Primavera (acquired by Oracle in 2008). As CTO, he set the technology direction for Primavera’s products and oversaw the global development team. During the Oracle acquisition, Sicilia led the team responsible for the technical and due diligence side of the transition.

After attending Father Judge High School, Sicilia earned a degree in computer science from Saint Joseph’s University (Pennsylvania). Sicilia currently serves on the Friends of Father Judge High School, where he helps with fundraising to create and improve academic programs at his alma mater.

Sicilia also works with Oracle’s Diversity and Inclusion team to help create opportunities in technology-related careers for underrepresented groups, such as the Oracle-led scholarship fund for Meharry Medical College School of Applied Computational Sciences.
