Austin Stewart

Austin Stewart currently serves as Vice President for Advancement at Aspen Music Festival and School, a position held since June 2024. Previously, Austin was the Chief Philanthropy and Advancement Officer at Please Touch Museum, where responsibilities included leading philanthropic strategies and special projects to enhance the organization's mission. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Planned and Major Gifts at Curtis Institute of Music, where Austin played a key role in a $250 million campaign and revitalized the planned giving program. Austin held the role of Director of Development at Opera Lafayette, focusing on increasing revenue streams and expanding program reach. Additionally, as Director of Operations at Chorus pro Musica, Austin managed a team to secure financial stability for the organization. Academic credentials include a PhD in Historical Musicology from the University of Michigan and a Master of Music in Opera Conducting from The University of Texas at Austin.
