Dr. Patricia McAfee

Dr. Patricia McAfee is a seasoned nurse educator with extensive experience in nursing leadership and management. Currently serving as a Nurse Educator at UGA IDM and Nightingale College since July 2023 and July 2021, respectively, Dr. McAfee also holds a position as Faculty and Professor Adjunct at Aspen University since December 2015, focusing on RN-BSN education in an online environment. Previous roles include Nurse Surveyor at the Ga Department of Community Health and Director of Perinatal Health at the Ga Department of Public Health, where responsibilities included overseeing health programs and collaborating on healthcare initiatives. Dr. McAfee also served as Legal Disciplinary Nurse Consultant with the Georgia Secretary of State and held various progressive roles at Piedmont Henry Hospital, culminating as Director of Women and Infant's Services. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management.
