Prashant Upasani

Prashant Upasani has over 20 years of experience in software engineering. Prashant started their career in 1999 as a Senior Software Engineer at Patni Computers Ltd., working on clients such as Genworth, Lynchburg, VA and GEFA, Richmond, VA. In 2004, they joined IBM Global Services as a Senior Java Developer, working on clients such as Sprint, Overland Park, KS and AT&T, Middletown, NJ. In 2007, they joined Collabera as a Senior JEE/Web Services Developer at Blue Cross Blue Shield, designing and developing webservices and deploying them on Websphere platform on Z/Linux. Prashant also worked as a Senior Java Developer at Bank of America, re-architecting and re-engineering web applications using RSA6.0. In 2011, they joined Persistent Systems as a Senior Technical Specialist, working on Yahoo! media online advertisement applications and automating front end and back end. In 2012, they joined BlueCross BlueShield of SC as a Senior Java/JEE developer, working on Workflow Management System and integrating solutions between various environments using web services technologies. In 2019, they joined Aspenify as the Chief Product Officer. In 2020, they joined Xirify as Co-Founder and Tekcapitol as Chief Product Engg. Head. Prashant is currently the CEO & Founder of ValueAdd SoftTech & Systems Pvt Ltd, where they are a System & Application Solution Architect at enterprise level, guiding teams and clients to build MVP fast and perfect using cloud deployments and continuous integration/ delivery models. Prashant also facilitates Open source based offshore centric development for web portals, mobile applications & web services integration using JS & JEE, and enables DevOps culture in organisations supporting Agile developments.

Prashant Upasani attended the University of Mumbai from 1995 to 1999.
