Shannon Van Deman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shannon currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of AspenRidge Recovery, where they oversee the operations of three treatment locations and telehealth programs. Shannon previously worked at Children's Hospital Colorado as the Vice President of the Pediatric Mental Health Institute, leading a service line with a significant revenue and staff. Prior to that, they founded their own consulting company, Peloton Strategies, advising clients on strategy, financial planning, and health system development. Shannon also held various roles at Choices Coordinated Care Solutions, including Chief Financial Officer and Quality Manager, driving innovation and restructuring operations. Shannon began their career at the University of Notre Dame as a Principal Investigator, researcher, and instructor in cognitive psychology. Throughout their career, Shannon has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial performance skills.
Shannon Van Deman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Iowa State University from 1995 to 2000. Shannon then pursued their PhD studies in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Notre Dame from 2000 to 2003. Shannon further expanded their education by earning an MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Ball State University, which they completed from 2005 to 2008.
