Ahmet Turan Özdemir

Ahmet Turan Özdemir currently holds the positions of Genel Müdür, Chairman of the Board, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Member of the Board at ASPİLSAN Enerji since April 2019. In academia, Özdemir has been a Professor at Erciyes University since January 2005, progressing through various academic ranks from Research Assistant to Associate Professor. Additionally, Özdemir serves as a Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi at PiLDER and Üniversite Sanayi Araştırma İşbirliği Vakfı (ÜSAİV). Previous roles include Coordinator of the IEEE Vitality Section and Chair of the IEEE Turkey Aerospace & Electronic Systems Society. Özdemir co-founded and served as CEO of Ultrasonar Savunma ve Havacılık Teknolojileri A.Ş. from November 2017 to March 2023. Educational qualifications include a postdoctoral fellowship in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University and a doctorate from Erciyes University, along with a visiting student experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
