Derek Wood

Derek Wood has had a solid work experience in various finance-related roles throughout their career. Derek started as a General Accountant at Placer Dome Inc. in 2005 and then moved on to Gourmet Baker Inc. where they served as a Financial Analyst from 2008 to 2011. Derek continued their career at Gourmet Baker Inc. as a Manager of Financial Analysis from 2011 to 2014. Derek then joined ARYZTA and held multiple positions, including Director of Customer Finance, Director of Controlling Finance, and Divisional Vice President of Finance - FP&A. Currently, they are the Divisional Vice President of Finance - FP&A at Aspire Bakeries, starting from 2021.

Derek Wood completed their Certified Management Accountant degree at CMABC from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended The University of British Columbia from 2000 to 2003 but did not earn a degree.
