Christina Le

Science Specialist at Aspire Education

Christina attended UCLA studying Psychobiology for 3 years before eventually shifting focus to Atmospheric and Oceanic Science. Throughout undergrad, she tutored students of all ages through various community programs, as a private tutor and on the campus lab school. These experiences coupled with education classes that unpacked the systemic inequalities in the American education system ignited a passion for teaching. She stayed at UCLA to pursue a Masters in Education because the program was designed to confront these racial, social and economic disparities. After graduating, she taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Environmental Science for over 5 years in South and East LA. Since moving to the Bay Area, she has worked in a variety of other sectors but always finds herself called back to working with students and empowering them to succeed.
