Lawren B. Keaton

Lawren B. Keaton currently serves in the National Aspiring Principals Fellowship at Clark Atlanta University in the School of Education since August 2023, following a role as Assistant Principal and Dean of Students at Aspire Public Schools starting in April 2022. Prior experience includes teaching 7th and 8th Grade English at Making Waves Academy from August 2020 to March 2022 and various positions at Caliber Public Schools from August 2017 to July 2020, including Grade Level and ELA Content Lead, as well as 7th Grade English Teacher and Kindergarten Instructional Assistant. Lawren also worked as a Certificated Substitute for Vallejo City Unified School District and Napa Valley Unified School District in late 2016 and held an Assistant Store Manager position at Sherwin-Williams from July 2015 to October 2016. Education credentials include a Master of Arts in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusive Education from Touro University California (2017-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a Minor in Psychology from California State University, Chico (2007-2014).
