Andrea Baronchelli

Andrea Baronchelli has a diverse work experience in various industries. Andrea started their career in 2009 as a Consultant at TECHO, where they worked on microcredit and business development projects. In 2010, they joined LGT Capital Partners as a Private Equity Analyst, focusing on European buyouts. Andrea then transitioned to investment banking, starting as an Investment Banking Analyst at Societe Generale from February 2012 to July 2012, primarily working in the oil and gas sector. Andrea continued their investment banking career at Jefferies from May 2012 to December 2012, where they specialized in consumer goods and retail. In 2012, they joined Rocket Internet SE as part of the Global Venture Development team, playing a key role in the early stage setup of various Rocket Internet initiatives. This led him to become a founding team member of Lazada Group, where they held multiple roles including Regional Management, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer from December 2012 to January 2018. After leaving Lazada, Andrea Baronchelli became an Executive Vice President at Alibaba Group's Lazada division from January 2017 to January 2018. Most recently, they co-founded and became the CEO of Aspire, a Y-Combinator backed company that focuses on building a comprehensive financial operating system for modern businesses in SEA & APAC.

Andrea Baronchelli completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from Università Bocconi between 2007 and 2010. In 2011, Andrea pursued a Master in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
