Pedro Galdamez CAMS, PMP®, ICA is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and financial crime prevention. Currently serving as the US BSA Officer at Aspire since June 2025, Pedro previously held the position of Sr. Compliance Manager at Rapyd, overseeing compliance across the Americas. Prior to that, at SWIFT, Pedro led Financial Crime Compliance initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean, significantly enhancing compliance infrastructure. A long tenure at Western Union included roles such as Sr. Global Operations Manager for KYC and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer, while earlier experience includes positions at Ameriquest and TCF Bank. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate of Science from Waubonsee Community College.
