Business Unit Head - Automation & GRC at ASPL INFO SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED

Afzal Khan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Afzal started their career as a Desktop Administrator at Arthashasthra, where they provided level 2 support for end users and administered network accounts. After that, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer at JCCS, where they managed and maintained ISA Server 2006 for around 500 users.

Later, Afzal joined Wipro Infotech as a Team leader-IT, where they managed a team of forty people and provided support for the ESIC application. Afzal also troubleshooted hardware and software issues at camps all over Bangalore.

Afzal then moved to iOPEX technologies as a Senior Team Lead, where they managed a team of 27 technical executives and handled infrastructure servers. Subsequently, they joined Appnomic Systems as a Client Support Manager and later as a Program Manager, where they focused on service delivery for clients in India and the Middle East.

Currently, Afzal is working at ASPL Info Services as a Business Unit Head - Automation & GRC. In this role, they are responsible for building new business, P&L management, strategy and planning, and growth. Afzal also works on GTM strategy, pipeline development, and large deal initiatives. Additionally, Afzal leads COE teams for various domains and manages ITSM and automation products' life cycle. Afzal is experienced in executing projects related to compliance and risk management solutions.

Throughout their career, Afzal has demonstrated strong leadership skills, customer relationship management, and expertise in IT infrastructure services.

Afzal Khan attended Vishweshwarapura College of Science from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronics. Prior to college, Afzal Khan studied at Sarvodaya English High School, although the exact duration of their education at this institution is unknown. In terms of additional certifications, in 2007, they obtained the MCSA1: Messaging on Windows Server 2003 certification from Microsoft. Furthermore, they also obtained the MCSA certification from Microsoft in the same year. In 2014, Afzal Khan acquired the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT.
